Steven Keating, FIIC
Vice President, Personal Insurance Broker
Steven
is a graduateof NBCC - Saint John. With a degree in
Civil Engineering Technology, Steve began his insurance career as a building inspection with the
Insurers Advisory Organization in 1982. In 1985 a move to
Halifax saw a change of careers to the claims adjusting side of the
business until 1989 where another change saw a move to the personal
lines arena.
During the next 15 years at Lombard Insurance Steven
continued to move up the ranks at Lombard and became the National
Group Underwriter and Portfolio manager for Alberta, Quebec and
Atlantic Canada. The most recent move in April 2004 saw Steve move back to Saint John
to become a partner at Mitchell McConnell Insurance and oversees the
personal lines department within the brokerage. Steve is a "Fellow"
of the Insurance Institute of Canada, graduating wtih honors in 2001. Steven is married to Rosemarie
and they currently reside in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
