Steven Keating, FIIC
Vice President, Personal Insurance Broker
Steve started his insurance career as a building inspection with the
Insurers Advisory Organization in 1982. Then in 1985 with a move to
Halifax saw a change of careers to the claims adjusting side of the
business until 1989 where another change saw a move to the personal
lines arena.
During the next 15 years at Lombard Insurance Steven
continued to move up the ranks at Lombard and became the National
Group Underwriter and Portfolio manager for Alberta, Quebec and
Atlantic Canada. Then in April 2004 Steve moved back to Saint John
to become a partner at Mitchell McConnell Insurance and manages the
personal lines department within the brokerage. s a "Fellow"
of the Insurance Institute of Canada. Steven is married to Rosemarie
and they currently reside in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
